How to Make Money Online
Check out my new eBooks that are live on Amazon and Kindle. It's one of the ideas I recommend on this site and elaborate on in The Blog!

It all started with a kayak - yes, you read that right. I wanted one, but didn't have almost $1500 laying around just so that I could fish on the other side of the lake. I've always worked a fulltime job, and I've gone from not having enough money to being semi-comfortable; Then I get online and see all this crazy stuff I wish I had, knowing I won't ever be able to just save up enough money to make it work. I existed in a cycle of weekly paychecks and watched them get eaten up by bills, mortgage, groceries, and gas. It's a vicious cycle. How do we break free?
We change the rules.
Some people have been able to change their lives, even quit their jobs and live free of the corporate need to squeeze every drop of efficiency out of an already tired and under payed worker. How did they do this? By focusing their time and energy outside of work on making passive income. What is passive income? Instead of you trading your time for your employer's money, passive income gets generated even while you sleep.
It won't be easy, nothing worth having ever is. I created this site and blog not only to show you ways of attaining a passive income, but to watch me fail - because failure is how we learn. Failure is necessary to build the mindset needed to achieve your goals and persevere through the uphill battle you will embark upon. It will not happen in a day, or a month - maybe not even a year. It all depends on your drive, creativity, and will to succeed. This is entirely in your hands.
I will break the following methods up into linear goals - short, mid, and long term goals. Start small, keep going with the project you choose until you have completed it, and see your first small sum of money from your endeavors. Then watch as weekly, monthly, yearly that initial investment of work keeps paying dividends on into the future with PassivelyEarn.com
Let's jump right in with some ideas for passive and near-passive income with minimal investment in time. I go into much more detail and have more ways to passively earn income in The Blog!
1.) Earning money online while resting
Of all the options on this list, it may have the most reasonable rate of return for the least amount of work. There are many survey sites available, some of which offer ways to watch videos and even play games for money. These are not get rich quick schemes, and your earnings depend greatly on your own initiative. The real magic here is the referral system. Many of these sites will compensate you for the number of friends you get to join. Click on any link below and begin earning money for relaxing at your computer from some of the sites I use myself. As a side note, It should be mentioned that I was able to buy my web domain and purchase premium site hosting just off the money from these sites. While there are many out there, these are the options I have found to pay the highest and the fewest ads.

2.) Gumball Machine
This isn't as crazy as it sounds. Gum is cheap, and definitely not worth a whole quarter. Amazon currently has a 3 compartment gumball machine and Gumballs by the 53 oz. container - that is around 750 gumballs +/- and if you sold all of your gumballs for a quarter you are looking at a hefty return. If you factor in having to buy more gumballs, and paying off the initial investment, you would begin making money after 1 refill or so. So find a business with a busy store front and ask about setting up a gumball machine! The best part about this option is that if you decide to purchase the machine and gumballs through Amazon, you can use the gift cards from the previous idea to fund your investment with little or no money out of your pocket
3.) Not Spending Money
This is the fastest return you can get. Instead of buying that morning coffee, put the money aside. If you smoke cigarettes, imagine how much money you could have in just a single month if you put that money aside instead. Ask yourself before any purchase 'Do I really need this?" and if the answer is not absolutely yes, force yourself to put it back on the shelf and walk away. Here are some ebooks to help you along with this idea, and don't forget to use your gift cards here too.
4.) Microsoft Rewards
We all search for things on the internet, so why not get paid to do it? Sign up for your rewards account on the Bing homepage and begin earning today. If you do every search and all 3 of your daily tasks, which should take only a few minutes, you can net yourself just shy of $10 a month - you won't get rich, but you did get money for virtually no work.
5.) Take a class
How would spending money on a class be a passive way to make income? Think about the area where you live, and what is NOT available to learn. The small town where I live does not have a single place where someone can learn to make jewelry. The nearest class available is 2 hours away, during a weekday. Most hobby classes may be once a week for a few hours, in as little as 1 session up to about 5. Now, if you were to go take that class and receive a certificate of completion then you can teach the same material to others. Now your investment and time translates into you being able to host a workshop for a hobby or skill you are interested in - whenever you like. How much to charge for the class? You decide what is reasonable and test the market by posting fliers in public places. Sure, you can teach a hobby without a certificate, but imagine how many more people would be comfortable giving up their hard earned money if you could advertise your credentials.
