Antiquing for money
People are bored, and getting desperate to make some extra money. Take a look at Facebook Marketplace from any city and it has been flooded with things people are trying to sell. Yesterday I found a piano stool from 1900, or at least they claimed it was, for $100. If you have a little extra money floating around then now is an amazing time to pick up some oddball items for resale.
Even now, with the pandemic in full swing, you can safely go and pick up the items from someone else's house as long as you use common sense. Spray and wipe the item down with disinfectant, and keep your mask and gloves on. That is, assuming you aren't on a total lock down. If antiquing isn't your thing, then check out the used cars, video games, or sports/fitness equipment.
Why not join the crowd as well? If you have anything you don't want laying around then post it up and get rid of it. There is always someone willing to buy anything you can imagine, and the chances of them being nearby is amplified by being in a big city.
Consider either purchasing or selling now, though I guarantee you'll have better luck purchasing. Look for known collectible items and antiques to turn a reasonable and quick profit.
