Gumballs: Why did it get so many clicks?

I put the idea for getting a Gumball machine from Amazon on my website when it was first made, and all of a sudden the clicks started happening. People were searching for "How many gumballs in a machine?", and "Gumballs Amazon" to be brought to my website with a small paragraph on the topic. I looked on my analytics programs and it showed me ranked as between #4 and #8 in search results, which had me really confused. At any rate, people are searching for Gumballs, so why not write another article in greater detail.

With everyone pretty well locked away indoors, you aren't going to be making any money off of a gumball machine - yet. Once people get back out into the world there will be a LOT of people willing to spend a quarter on a gumball. So where do you buy the machine and gumballs? Amazon, of course.

Types of Machines

Large

I do mean large. This one measures in at 58" tall and has a large price tag with it as well. The benefits: You can fill it up with around 1600x 1" gumballs and leave it alone for a while. It's large enough that someone isn't going to walk away with it easily. The downside: Besides it's large price tag, it's bulky - meaning it won't fit as many places as one of the smaller machines would.

Medium

With 3 independent candy containers, you can stick with gumballs or expand into cheaper bulk small candy and offer variety. Each container can hold 350x 1" gumballs or 8-10 lbs. of candy. Pros: Offer variety in quantity. Cons: Only 2 compartments can vend smaller candy.

Small

Able to hold 375x 1" Gumballs (or 1" round capsules, bouncy balls, or small candy) all you need with this machine is a compatible stand and you have a price-efficient money maker. The pros: just the right size for a vestibule or entryway. Works with standard 1" gumballs and capsules. Cons: No stand included.

1" Gumballs

Dubble Bubble 850x bulk case, 16 pounds of gumballs

1/2" Gumballs

Rain-blo 1/2" Gumballs, 3.3 pounds. Around 750 Gumballs. Just make sure your machine will accept 1/2" gumballs.

You don't even have to stick with candy. Why not go with a full on vending machine? But, that's a post for another time. Remember, when it comes to any sort of vending machine it's all about location. So check around your area for suitable places and start your gumball empire today.
