Socially Distant Vacation!

We recently went to Arkansas, around the Quitman area on Greer's Ferry Lake to take a much needed vacation. The main goal was to experience real trout fishing, which is something I've dreamed of doing most of my life.

In this age of required distance it was the perfect choice; the weekend following the Labor Day weekend found the area near dead, and there were very few other anglers at the shoals we chose to visit. I ended up catching 4, and keeping 3.

For those interested, the scenery was... majestic is the only word I can find to truly do it justice. The water was so clear you could see the fish fighting the current, which really was a sight to see. I can't wait to return to the area even though we just got back.

Today the floors in the kitchen will be finished, so I'll get a picture to show a completed project. It also means that I am ready to start a few more projects (yay...) but it also means that we will finally have a functional kitchen.

Back to work, the daily grind as they say, but it's also a countdown to the holidays and my next fishing trip. I cannot wait. Until the next post stay safe, stay motivated, and get started on your journey into passive income today!
