Why I chose to publish my site before finishing it
I was declined by BidVertiser, and honestly it hurt. I don't get a lot of web traffic yet and I'm running on word of mouth until I get the money together to advertise on Facebook, but I felt like I had a unique take on the 'passive income' trend that isn't a scam or a bunch of copied articles from everyone else's blog. I know that is how this is usually done, because I did my research before starting this.
Most people rehash the same boring ideas and throw a bunch of ads on a page in the hope that their minimum amount of work will make them rich on your naivety, and I'm sorry but that isn't for me. This is as much a learning experience for me as it is for most of you.
My choice to make this an ongoing project might have hurt me in the short term, but I'm hoping it can help you and I equally; As I fail, we learn. I'm fine with this, and I hope you take the lesson of building your site slowly to heart.
