Writing an eBook: 3 days in

It's going better than I expected it to. On day 3 I am up to 15,685 words, which if the sites I've visited in my research are correct, would work out to be just under 63 eBook pages displayed on a Kindle (or 250 words per page) - which to me is awesome. I think I'm shooting for about 100 pages, or Novella size, and will probably give it away for free for a week to get some reviews going. After that I may charge 99 cents, or even a little bit more, but it all depends on how many pages I end up with in the end.

The lesson I learned today about writing an eBook is to just relax and let the words fill up the page. It's easy to go back and erase something that doesn't make sense, or move it around in the story to give better continuity and flow of ideas. Honestly, It's just extremely fun and satisfying to be able to craft a story from nothing. I highly recommend anyone thinking about writing an eBook as a means of passive income just go for it.

Back to the grindstone!
